Following your first appointment, your subsequent appointments will follow the treatment plan that we established at that first appointment. They will be significantly shorter, about 15 minutes (but please plan accordingly). There will be little to no paperwork for you to fill out and fewer questions to answer before receiving the treatment itself.
Some subsequent appointments are reexaminations. These are also shorter than the first appointment, about 30 minutes (I’ll let you know when these will occur, so that you can plan accordingly). The reason for these reexaminations is to gauge your progress, i.e. are you getting better, getting worse, or staying the same? It allows me to reassess the treatment plan, and maybe even the diagnosis. But mostly importantly, it allows me to provide better and conscientious health care. You will receive treatment (unless contraindicated) according to the updated treatment plan at these appointments.
